In the Anchorage Daily News there was an announcement that our own Lena Ferguson was named Coach of the Year. What a great honor for a wonderful teacher, coach, friend, and co-worker! We will always keep her in our hearts.

The fifth graders had an art show in their classroom. I think this was a first for Chevak! The artwork will be entered in to the bird calendar contest for the State of Alaska. Good luck fifth graders!
Chevak School is a K-12 school of about 320 students located in the Cup'ik village of Chevak, Alaska. Chevak rests on the north bank of the Ninglikfak River, 17 miles east of Hooper Bay in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta in western Alaska.
